• Up early, getting work done. My eyes are particularly foggy this morning (vision issues, eye doctor and I are on top of that) but my mental acuity seems refreshingly sharp. Interesting, that.

  • Today is mostly a catch up kind of day. Yesterday had many uncommon chores that I was able to handle quite well, but they swallowed up a LOT of time. Now those chores ordinarily done on Monday are calling me and I must deal with them. So I am.

  • Waiting at the hospital while S has her surgical procedures. They just called her back so we’ll probably be here through the afternoon.

  • I’ve been watching the Baylor/Oklahoma football game this afternoon. So exciting! Late in the 4th quarter they’re tied 23-23! Go Baylor!!

  • Waiting patiently for the Melatonin to kick in. Sure would be nice to find some more sleep this night.

  • Drinking coffee, finishing my breakfast in the lunch area of the big building where my doctor’s office is located. Just recieved my yearly flu vaccine, waiting to board the bus back home.

  • Last night’s “sleep” was filled with insomnia so, if past performance is any guide, today will find me zombified. Best not to expect much in the way of reliable productivity.

  • I’m sure glad micro.blog has an edit function!

  • Wednesday midday finds me on YouTube researching life in the Philippines. I may well be living there in a matter of months, maybe full time, maybe long term. Or maybe not. We’re planning on a month’s vacation with the option of staying.

  • The only thing I regret about this day is not doing any yardwork. Maybe tomorrow, the weather’s supposed to be really nice.

  • Ah, Monday. It’s good to return to the normal routine after the Thanksgiving Day weekend. This is the first Monday of the Advent Season, a time for internal review and preparation. I’ll do my review of my 2019, of course, and I’ll plan for 2020s big vacation.

  • SO glad S is feeling better this afternoon than she did yesterday! I admit to having been worried. Prayed really hard for her at Mass this morning.

  • Wow! This Ohio State / Michigan game is really exciting! Buckeyes are up 14-13 in the first quarter. Yes, I love my Big-10 football! :)

  • Black Friday plans? No shopping for me. I’ll be watching College football this afternoon and Frosty the Snowman specials this evening.

  • S just told me, “My turkey is still frozen!” So she may be getting creative re: our dinner today. She’s done so much cooking already this week, preparing feasts for her coworkers, I’d like to see take the day off from working in the kitchen.

  • Happy Thanksgiving Day Eve! My day started very early as I helped S prepare a feast for her coworkers. And this afternoon I’ve been researching how best to use Google Voice.

  • I don’t know which is the more annoying: that horrible old man who lives across the street and thinks he’s the mayor of the neighborhood, or his barking dogs.

  • “They” say that 10 minutes on a step climber exercise machine is equivalent to ½ hour on a treadmill. So far today I’ve managed one 5 minute set. Looking forward to being able to do 10 or 15 minute sets but I’m afraid it will be awhile before I can do that.

  • Today was SUCH a good day! S and I spent time doing KofC Fourth Degree work at two different Masses, at two different Churches. Doing good work with good friends and having fun doing it. A day to be thankful for.

  • Wish the neighbor across the street would stop working on his darned car. I’ve got a busy morning planned tomorrow and will need to wake up early. It would be nice to be able to get to sleep, but with all that noise coming from across the street…

  • Ah, Big-10 football! Enjoyed watching Ohio State vs. Penn State earlier, now I’ve got a Purdue game. This is good football!

  • Thing I like about this Friday night: I won’t have to set either of my alarms before going to bed. No Saturday morning plans means I can sleep as long as I can.

  • Ouch

I’m going to have to stop walking around in these darned slippers. My feet are absolutely KILLING me!

  • Hello world. This is my first Micro blog post. I’m looking forward to integrating microblogging into my online life.
